The Chelsea players Diego Costa and Oscar were involved in a
training ground bust up when the midfielder roughly tackled the striker.
According to the Mirror, Oscar’s tackle on the striker during
Thursday morning’s training led to Diego Costa confronting the striker
which almost led to a full out brawl.
Teammates and coaches had to intervene to diffuse the situation which was getting out of hand.
Club sources say no punches were thrown, after a witness claimed
midfielder Oscar was struck up to three times in the confrontation.
Oscar reportedly tackled Diego Costa close to his knee and the
striker responded by chasing the midfielder, angrily complaining about
the ferocity of the challenge and trying to wrestle the ball away from
him.
Later during training, Diego Costa responded by lounging at Oscar
which left the midfielder incensed and their team-mates stunned.
The pair then clashed, exchanging angry words before others came
between them. Oscar reportedly came off considerably worse from the two
tackles.
Oscar took to twitter and tweeted: “Those who are saying that me
and Diego Costa fought today in training are lying. He is one of my best
friends and we would never fight.”
